A reminder
Just a quick reminder for the ball meeting being held on
Wednesday March 10th, 2010 at 7pm at the Courtenay Fire Hall. We
need a representitive from every team to attend.
League Fees:
$850.00 for league fees
$150.00 Membership Fees (for field improvement fund)
$85.00 for insurance
We need these fees in one cheque. You can drop off the cheque at
Lewis #1 on April 5th, 2010 at 7pm and also at the time you can
pick up your game balls. If you can not make it on the 5th of
April, payment is due no later than the 15th of April. If your
team does not pay they will not play any games until such time
as we receive their fees. No exceptions will be made. The missed
games will be considered a forfeit.
The cost for this year’s Ice Breaker Tournament will be $200.00.
We will need to know who is in and money is due no later than
the 26th of April, so that the schedule can be made. We will let
you know the exact dates at the meeting.
Just a quick note on game cancellations: there will be none,
unless it is raining and Mike or Donnie decide to cancel the
game. If you can not field a team then you forfeit that game.
Attached is a copy of the volunteer list of jobs and there will
be copies at the meeting. Each team must choose to volunteer for
one job. This year we want a post dated cheque from each team in
the amount of $250.00, the date on the cheque should be October
1, 2010. If your team does not fulfill its duties to the job
they chose then they forfeit the $250.00 if your team completes
the job then the team gets their cheque back. We need to know
which job your team choses no later than the 5th of April. You
can either let us know after the meeting on Wednesday or by
emailing Kathy @ katlor@shaw.ca until a volunteer coordinator
steps up. Basically it will be first signed up gets that job.
We need more umpires. Talk to your team to see if anyone will be
interested in becoming an umpire.
